Agave Girls: Mezcal Madness!April 25, 2017

In September of 2006, Joanne Weir started talking about tequila. She was delighted to learn that, like her, many women don't just like tequila, they love it: They savor it with meals; drink it slowly from a snifter; and mix it with seasonal ingredients in experimental cocktails. Fueled by this realization, Weir created Agave Girls- to help kindred spirits share their enthusiasm for fine tequila and great company.
Our next Agave Girls gathering is on Tuesday, April 25 and this month will be a special Mezcal Madness edition! Join the original Agave Girl, Joanne Weir, PBS Chef and author of Tequila: A Guide to Types, Flights, Cocktails and Bites for an incredible evening of mezcal, tasting and fun at Copita Tequileria y Comida. Special guest, Emanuel Kuper, owner of Mezcal Vago, one of Joanne’s favorite producers, will be in attendance to lead guests through an educational tasting of this smokey spirit. The event will include passed appetizers and a tasting flight of mezcal, followed by a three course dinner that Chef Tellez has paired with each cocktail.Get your tickets
